Stepping Into Jolene: A New Chapter for The Groove Palace

Ten days out, the focus isn’t on what the night will be — it’s on what it represents.

On April 16, The Groove Palace steps into Jolene Sound Room for the first time, working alongside Link Miami Rebels — a name that, at this point, is deeply embedded in the city’s house music infrastructure.

From Club Space to Floyd Miami, and a long list of pop-ups and projects in between, Link Miami Rebels have spent years shaping how house music operates in Miami. Being invited into that ecosystem, even for a single night, carries weight.

For Groove Palace, it marks a shift.

Up to now, the focus has been on building independently — developing a crowd, refining the format, and learning how to scale within spaces like Sable. Jolene is a different environment entirely. Smaller, more controlled, and more closely tied to the core of the city’s underground.

The lineup reflects that moment.

At the top is Goosey, a UK-based DJ whose profile has been steadily building across Europe and the U.S. With over 180,000 monthly listeners on Spotify and a strong run of shows during Miami Music Week, his return to Miami for this date feels well-timed. He sits in that space between emerging and established — not unknown, but still actively growing.

The rest of the night is structured with intention.

The PRINCE! b2b SWIFI set returns, but in a different context. The last time the two played together — at the Coconut Groove x Groove Palace Fourth of July party — the approach leaned toward high energy and immediacy. This time, the role is different: opening the room, setting the tone, and giving the night somewhere to build from.

Closing duties fall to Drew Quatro, who has spent most Groove Palace events establishing the early hours. This slot gives him more room to stretch out — not just to maintain energy after the headliner, but to shape the final direction of the night.

There’s also an awareness of what comes with it.

A new room. A new partnership. A different kind of expectation.

There’s some pressure in that, but also a sense that this is the natural next step.

April 16 won’t be defined by numbers or outcomes — not yet.

But it does mark the first time The Groove Palace is stepping into a space like Jolene, alongside a team like Link Miami Rebels.

And that, on its own, says a lot.
